NetFlex Explore releases it's Field Sales Rep service to allow wireless handheld access to NetSuite. The service allows for real-time retrieval of Customer Account information like phone, email, address or custom field data stored in NetSuite or NetCRM. Stop wasting time starting your laptop, finding WiFi or calling the office for real-time Account information. Utilize your BlackBerry or Pocket PC to query your corporate data real-time. The service utilizes NetSuite's NetFlex Web Services, a secure standards-based API that extends NetSuite to other systems or services. NetSuite Tips

    Adding Custom RSS Feeds


    Explore can help you develop your own custom RSS feeds and incorporate them into your NetSuite dashboard. This could be used as another integration mechanism to include third party software integration, external KPI's or custom news feeds. For example, Explore created our own current press release RSS Feed. Follow these steps to setup:

    1. Login to NetSuite and navigat to your Home tab
    2. Turn on RSS portlets. Navigate to Home --> Settings --> Customize this page.
    3. Choose the Standard Content tab and select the RSS Portlet option and Save.
    4. Find the RSS portlet on your Dashboard and select the Setup link.
    5. Set Source = Custom
    6. Set RSS Feed URL = http://www.exploreconsulting.com/rss/ecnews.xml
    7. Set Number of Links = 10
    8. Check Show Details box and Save.

    Anonymous Shopping

    You can allow customers to shop in your Web store and check out without registering.

    To let customers shop anonymously:

    1. Go to Setup > Set Up Web Site.
    2. On the Web Site Setup page, click the Setup subtab.
    3. In the Customer Registration is field, select optional (anonymous).
    4. Click the Plus icon next to the Anonymous Customer Placeholder field.
    5. In the popup window, enter a name for your placeholder.
      For example, Anonymous Shoppers.
    6. Click Save.
    7. Click Save on the Web Site Setup page.

    Customers can now shop in your store without entering registration information. When anonymous shoppers make purchases in your site, sales are recorded using the Anonymous Shoppers record.

    To view sales histories for anonymous customers, go to Lists > Customers and click View next to the record you created in steps 5-6 above.
