    Mass Reassignment of Leads/Prospects/Customers Based on Sales Rules

    If you would like to reassign a large number of Leads, Prospects or Customers from one Sales Rep to another based on the Sales Rules and Sales Territories that you have setup, there is a quick and easy way to do this. Navigate to Lists � Search � Mass Updates. Choose the �Reassign Customers by Sales Territory� option as seen below:

    Once you have navigated to 'Reassign Customers by Sales Territory Rules, choose the criteria that will determine which Leads/Prospect/Customers will be reassigned. After setting the criteria, click the Preview button in the upper left corner. This will show you the specific entities that will be reassigned. At this point, you may choose to uncheck the Apply box next to any names that you do not want reassigned. After previewing the list of names that will be reassigned, you may either perform the update (By clicking the Perform Update Button) or you may click Save to save the Mass Update. If you find that you need to edit the Criteria that you have chosen, click the 'Return to Criteria' button. Once you have changed your Criteria, click Preview and then Perform Update.

    Adding a For Sale / For Resale Item

    When you are setting up your new For Sale or For Resale item in the system, it is very important to use the correct type of accounts. The Sales and Forecasting reports in the system are generated from Sales type transactions that 'Credit' an Income type account. With that said, when you setup either a For Sale or For Resale item in the system, make sure to choose an Income type account in the Income Account box. If you choose any other Account Type in that box, when you view your Forecasting and Sales reports, you will notice that any transactions for these items do not appear on the Forecasting or Sales reports.
