 Dash Navigation
Dash Navigation selected Explore Consulting to integrate three major systems into one cohesive service for their recently launched Dash Express GPS: Custom website, NetSuite eCommerce and NetSuite Back Office (ERP, Order Management).
Dash Express is the first Internet-connected navigation system on the road. Using two-way connectivity, it delivers the most relevant and up-to-date information to get you on your way. The Dash Express gathers traffic information from the Dash Driver Network and combines it with other sources of traffic data to provide you with the most accurate picture of what's happening on the routes you're traveling.
The Dash Navigation Web Store launch included several custom scripts and integration. Dash Navigation uses a 3rd-party fulfillment center using an Oracle back end system which required integration. Explore Consulting designed an automated integration solution using the Data Integration Module (DIM), that leveraged the NetSuite Web Services API to pass sales order from NetSuite to the fulfillment center. These integration processes are monitored using the DIM Dashboard which provides visibility into each integration line and the capability to managed notifications and job scheduling.
Custom logic was placed on the website to make it "intelligent". The webstore will recognize multiple types of customers and automatically add free items to the cart based on their profiles. As the customer navigates through the checkout process, promotion codes associated to their profile will automatically populate the order and allow them to complete the purchase. Explore was able to create multiple registration processes to handle different types of customers to create custom profiles behind the scenes, and at the same time enhance validation processes.

CSV Import Improvements for Mac
With the upgrade to version 2007.1, NetSuite has made it easier to import CSV documents from your Mac. NetSuite's CSV Import Assistant has been improved to include a new character encoding option for MacRoman to support Mac Excel CSV format. This makes uploading CSV files by Mac users an easier process.
The Import Assistant can be found at Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
