FSR 3 for NetSuite - Now Live!
Explore Mobile's FSR 3 has been released. The FSR is designed to enable out of the office access to your NetSuite Customer, Contact and Sales Order information.
Release 3 is a complete re-design of the user interface and functionality. The navigation has been enhanced for quick retrieval of relevant data; this includes Jump To, Top 10 history, header and footer navigation menus. FSR 3 includes full support for Sales Order retrieval, creation, and modification. These Sales Orders can be emailed directly from your handheld, using NetSuite standard functionality, to multiple email addresses for easy printing and order confirmation.

- Improve my site aesthetics. Explore worked through multiple rounds of tedious clarifications to get the site templates looking just the way I wanted. Now it looks and feels right.
- Streamline user navigation. Better template design helped, but Explore also re-wrote my custom navigation bar (the blue bar) to be both SEO friendly, and also allow the navigation bar to display breadcrumbs based on the URL address. A custom solution that works where others had told me it couldn't be done, and my customers benefit from easier navigation.

Advanced Project Accounting
Assigning Resources and Time Management
With the Advance Project Accounting module you can assign resources and designate their role on a project record. You can also specify on the project record to limit time record entry for that project to assignees only. This will reduce the number of projects that consultants see when entering time and help to alleviate time entry errors.
To assign resources:
Navigate to the resources tab on the project record.
On the resources tab choose the individual you would like to add to the project. Their email address is sourced from their record and you can designate their role. Resources can be both employees and vendors.

To limit who can enter time for this project, check the checkbox on the general tab for “Limit Time to Assignees.” Now only the name in the resource list will be able to see this project record on the time entry screen. |
