Customer Spotlight: Red Giant |
Founded in 2002, Red Giant Software creates an ever-expanding universe of effects tools ranging from plug-in suites, applications and mobile apps to Guru Presets, free products and sharing communities. They provide software for motion design, photography and color correction that is used for everything from major motion pictures to worldwide television programming to web production.
Red Giant was one of the first NetSuite sites to dynamically incorporate WSDK with their external servers. Red Giant's core lives outside of NetSuite where the entire shopping experience is contained. Once a user adds items to the cart they are then passed to NetSuite's secured servers. This gives Red Giant maximum flexibility in terms of presenting their store the way they want to and optimizing their security and integration by using NetSuite for the backend checkout process.
Explore helped implement the second redesign phase and was able to successfully launch uninterrupted. Using a NetSuite sandbox account, Explore was able to test their new design without disrupting commerce to the live site.
